Here is a small solar light project that I did at the wedding of Terry Mark and Brittany Scott on August 25, 2012. Enjoy the images. vanschie.

As most people know the Bulrush Project has been down for a bit now. The reason that it was removed prematurely on Thursday August 9, 2012 was because people decided to burn a portion of the project on a beach fire. Vandalism is a shame. We shouldn’t let people burn art. vanschie.

The high winds and large waves did a number on the installation, but surprisingly the majority of the bamboo poles stayed in place. vanschie.

Don’t be angry with me, but I started today. I figure I might as well get a jump on the project installation. I’ve pretty well installed all the bamboo poles for the solar lights. Claire Powers saw me working and decided to help tye on flagging tape to the bamboo poles. The site is starting to look like an installation. Still lots to do, so don’t be shy. vanschie.

The Bulrush project will start being installed on Wednesday August 1, 2012. Everyone is welcome to participate. Remember to bring sunscreen, a snack, water and dress appropriately for working in the water. This should be fun. See you there. vanschie
